Rotterdam Terminals Halted by 48-Hour Lashing Strike

Temporary disruption expected across port operations

We would like to inform you that all terminals in the Port of Rotterdam will be affected by a 48-hour lashing strike organized by ILS and Matrans.

The strike will take place from Wednesday, October 8 at 15:15 hours until Friday, October 10 at 15:15 hours. During this time, no lashing operations will be performed, leading to interruptions in container handling and vessel scheduling across all terminals.

At NVO Worldwide, we understand the challenges such disruptions can pose to your operations. Our team is working closely with terminal partners and shipping lines to minimize delays and will keep you informed with updates as the situation develops.

We appreciate your understanding and continued trust as we navigate this temporary disruption together.
